

Chas Edwardson, Executive Director
The Prince of Wales Vocational and Technical Education Center Board of Directors hired Charles (Chas) Edwardson as full time Executive Director July of 2022. Chas brings over 30 years of business development experience, including 10 years in vocational training, to the POW VocTec. In addition to running his own construction company in Ketchikan, he was also the workforce development director for Ketchikan Indian Community and an adjunct faculty professor with the University of Alaska Southeast. The Executive Director position was made possible through partnership with Sealaska Corporation to bring sustainable vocational and technical education programs to POW VocTec.

Aubrey Gamble, Assistant Director
Aubrey was raised on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska and is Kaax’oos.hittaan, or Man’s Foot Clan. After receiving her BA, she followed a passion for early childhood education and has many years’ experience as both a teacher and administrative support staff. Aubrey enjoys organizing successful events and keeping information flowing, assisting in the preparation, planning and implementation of community gatherings. As Coordinator at POW VocTec she does this as in addition to constantly networking and strengthening connections, while keeping social media and the website current.
